Okay, well.. this is probably very old news to many many many people. Today, whilst researching heavily for information on affiliating with travel websites for an amazing idea someone amazing had at my internship (and no, the person wasn’t me), I stumbled upon Forbes.com for probably the first time since my senior year. I can’t lie. I’ve never been a Forbes fan. No particular reason, I just much prefer my Bloomberg Business Week (witty titles, engaging writing and best of all fantastic graphic design and lay out- what more could I possibly ask for?). Anyhoo, I am now in love with the pre-home-page-landing-page page. Each day, they have a “thought of the day”. I could be wrong, but I am 75% sure it is the same thought for the whole day. This would be as opposed to a database of random quotes and each time you load the page a new quote appears. I am also 75% sure that everyone sees the same thought of the day - which I just LOVE! While you’re sitting pondering the thought of the day, someone else is too. For those 30-40 seconds you are both in quite intense thought. Clearly, I will need to start giving some more love to Forbes. We shall see, we shall see.
